(A) a two-timer (B) my friend (C) (A)’s girl friend
01 (A) looks very stable. Not on its own, but in fact because (c) supports (A).
02 One day, (A) meets (B) and falls in love with (B).
03 The more devoted (A) is to (B), the more empty (C) is left. (C) begins to doubt (A).
04 (B) and (C) became aware of the secret of (A). (C) attacks (B) with anger.
05 In the end. (B) wants to leave.
This work originates from my diary in 2017. At that time, I was emotionally confused, because of an incident my friend had experienced with her boyfriend. Listening carefully to her story for days, I became curious about the guy(the two-timer)'s psychology, and wanted to delve deeper into the case by reinterpreting what had happened from his point-of-view.
Even though it was an event that can be explained simply, by focusing more on his condition and his thinking process at that time, I worked to show the dynamic flow of the process itself, not just the result. Since the purpose was to focus on his point-of-view, the central axis of the design had to represent him as well. I used the form of a seesaw to bring attention to the middle of the form, and tried to express him in a flexible form with opposite ends which could vary by weight.
